Portmarnock Wedding Photography

It had been a while since I photographed a wedding at Portmarnock Hotel and I couldn’t wait to be back with this beautiful couple. It was one of those weddings that just ticked all the boxes. Both of them really valued wedding photography and I was so grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to provide them with the photos I captured on the day. From the prep at home, to the church in Stoneybatter and a walk through Phoenix Park, everything just clicked into place.

The weather allowed their families and friends to relax in the courtyard green for the reception where the Shebeen was just throwing out the black stuff in copious amounts. Everyone was in such good form. If I had to take a photograph of someone that didn’t look content I’d have failed, honestly, everyone was just in such good spirits. But the limelight goes to the flower girl. She was a real adventurer on the day, collecting petals, climbing trees, running through long grass, getting entangled in dresses and hijacking a golf cart with the bride. What more could you have asked for as a wedding photographer looking for moments to capture.
