Waterford Castle Wedding Photographer

2015

An intimate wedding outdoors blessed by paper cranes

“With just four people I thought I’d be lost after a couple of hours but…”

Thanks Wedding Mooch for the wonderful wedding photography feature at Waterford Castle with Alyssa and Shane. I had such a great time shooting their small party of four. Alyssa and Shane met at the Deaf Village Ireland and approached me to photograph their small wedding in great detail as they’d be sharing all the photos with friends and family back home. No pressure at all :O

As a wedding photographer, there is that tendency to panic knowing that you’ve been hired to get as many different moments of the day as possible. With just four people I thought I’d be lost after a couple of hours but with such glorious weather, a really relaxed setting and loads of fun, the day flew by with as many emotions as a wedding of over 300 guests.

The next four photos were when Alyssa and Shane found out her Hairdresser/Make Up artist had been in a car accident (she’s fine now) but it was horrible to think of the circumstances and brought the wedding even closer to our hearts in perspective.
