What to ask your wedding photographer?
In 2001 I graduated with an M.A in Photography Arts at D.I.T and have since been working in the industry. From Agencies to Printers, I freelanced for 6 years eventually setting up Give us a goo photography in 2007 and photographed over 500 weddings at this stage!
To have fun, be calm and to anticipate the moments that arise throughout your wedding day. I supply couples with a mix of group shots, creative staged shots (quirky, fun, romantic, moody) and of course the natural moments captured as the day unfolds.
I’m not a press photographer with a trigger finger blindly shooting you in hope of getting the shot. I’m as discrete as possible. I think of my approach like an old friend, to make you as comfortable as possible and manage family and friends in a positive and efficient manner when it comes to getting the shot.
As many as it takes! Usually a Full Day would yield up to 800 images from bridal prep to a few songs after the First Dance. If I stayed from bridal prep until dinner then about 550 photos.
You will always have me as your main wedding photographer. If you would really like another photographer present on the day then a 2nd professional wedding photographer can be made available at an additional cost. Handy for covering the prep of both spouses that are too far for me to travel in the morning. Contact me for further details.
Yeap I have both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance which can be sent to venues if requested.
I’m also a member of the I.P.P.V.A (Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association).

But I require an email confirming that the booking is to be cancelled. The booking fee is non-refundable. If you’d like to change your wedding date then it’s subject to availability
Most couples feel this way and if posing is filling you with dread then just remove it from the day. I guarantee that you’ll get amazing photos without the “look at Phil and smile” anxiety. And the best thing is that each photograph would be truly unique as they’ll all be real moments.
But if you really want the couple and group photos then rest assured that we can make it short and fun. It doesn’t have to be hours of posing. A quick line up with the ones you love can be all that’s required. Also, I have some great tips and tricks that will help all couples ensure an awkward-free photoshoot!
I like to start editing your photos immediately. You’ll find me backing up and reviewing your photos on my laptop during the wedding meal. Then it takes me about a week or two to edit your photos and deliver. Generally, you’ll receive them within a week but sometimes it can take longer like when my wife gave birth to our children. Weddings took about 4 weeks 😉
Please note that a non-refundable booking fee of €250 must be paid to secure your wedding day. The remaining amount must then be paid before the wedding day or on the day itself. The sooner the fee is paid then the sooner I can guarantee to cover your wedding on that day. There are only so many weekends I can work and it is in your best interest to secure a wedding date as soon as possible.
Yes, I can offer you a variety of frames from traditional wooden frames to acrylic magnets. From desktop prints to large canvas prints. All of these can be ordered online through the gallery.
Yeap, you’ll have the option of having black and white, sepia or color images and for those who have the time to sit down with me, I’m always eager to do something new, something different. I’m also open to new ideas that you might have and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
Yes. I will host your images in a private online gallery to share with family and friends for a very long time. It’s also possible to create several other galleries for friends, family and workmates that you’d like to share online. All photos are available to download as high resolution files and can be printed online!
I have another two on my person. Yup, I carry 2 – 3 cameras on me at all times. The last thing I want is to halt the day to go and get a 2nd camera from the bag.
We’ve some beautiful albums to relive your wedding day. From contemporary to traditional. We have it all.
Couples would choose their photos through the website online features. A draft will then be uploaded and the couple are free to suggest as many changes as they would like at no additional cost. Occasionally I get some couples who are too busy to choose their photos thus trusting me to decide.
